Merritt Hungry for PVC Windows
Oct. 13, 2006 – PRW.com, a daily polymer industry news Web site, reports that Merritt Plastics, based in Derbyshire, has invested £400,000 into recycling PVC-U window frames. The company currently recycles off-cuts from PVC-U window frames but wants to increase its business in the area, increasing its window recycling capacity to 3,000 tons. Because Merritt is member of Recovinyl and receives incentive payments for its work, it can offer payments to window companies for them to hand over their window frames to Merritt for recycling.
